Why The Majority Of Scientists Believe In Evolution

Came across this golden oldie at JesusandMo.net.

Callan Bentley at Mountain Beltway has very ably demonstrated that the Dunning-Kruger effect afflicts most of the U.S. Republican Presidential candidates.

  1. I don't care for the word "belief" and its connotations. If I didn't "believe" in evolution, it doesn't stop it from existing. Conversely believing in something doesn't make it reality.

Belief is becoming akin to measuring how one is able to grasp reality, or remain in ignorant delusions.

  2. maybe agree, accept, support are less loaded terms.. but the arguments you make apply to them as well...how have you reached that state of mind.. blind faith or by examining hard evidence..
