Despite all of the fundamental stupidity of this, there's also the factor that there have not always been 6 billion people on the planet. That's a very new feature of our world.As if this is looking for any actual scientific scrutiny.
Unfortunately, the well of stupidity never runs dry, no matter how long the earth has existed for.
